Emergency Closing Information for UPK

If there is a need to close school, have a delayed opening, or early dismissal due to weather or other emergency situation, it will be announced on the following radio stations: WALK 97.5 FM and WBLI 106.1 FM

In the event of an early dismissal, delayed opening, or school closing, please listen to all the District’s Automated Telephone messages in their ENITIRETY! You may also call the District Hotline at 285-8088.

Please do not call the school for information on early closings. The phone lines need to be kept clear to receive emergency calls from the district and/or authorities.

UPK OFTEN DOES NOT FOLLOW THE BUILDING RELEASE TIME.

AS A GENERAL RULE: Early Dismissal AM UPK dismisses at regular time 10:30 AM; Full-Day dismisses at time to be determined; NO PM UPK

Two Hour Delay NO AM UPK; Full-Day UPK comes at 10:00 and dismisses at 1:55 pm; PM UPK regular time 11:30-2:25.
