Mission Statement
Members of the Math Team are introduced to non-traditional and challenging mathematical problems and are provided with strategies and techniques used to solve them. Team members compete in the Suffolk County League Meets and in State Meets.

A county meet consists of six questions that are administered in three sets of two questions each. Students are given 12 minutes to solve the two problems.  At certain meets, no calculators are allowed. 

A state meet consists of 6 questions.  Students are given 30 minutes to complete all the questions.  Calculators are allowed at these meets.

All students are welcome to join the Math Team.
