I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at Hofstra University in the field of History, my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education at Dowling College and my Professional Diploma in Educational Administration from Stony Brook University.  The 2014-2015 school year will be my 18th in education.  Prior to Middle Country I was a Social Studies teacher for the Riverhead Central School District.  I also coached girls basketball and boys lacrosse for Riverhead and boys lacrosse for William Floyd.  I came to Middle Country to serve as an Assistant Principal for Centereach High School starting in the summer of 2008. 

I am proud to be part of the Middle Country Central School District because of the sense of community that I have experienced.  The parents, students, teachers, administration and staff all come together  for the good of the children and make it the best possible place to grow and learn.  The team work and high expectations amongst those stakeholders has been the most impressive aspect of working in our district.  I look forward to supporting the students in their evolution from today’s learners into tomorrow’s leaders.
