Dr. Saltz is proud to serve as the principal of Oxhead Road Elementary School. She first joined the Middle Country family in July 2014 as the assistant principal of New Lane Memorial Elementary School, and subsequently served as principal of New Lane from April 2019 through June 2023. Prior to her work as a school administrator, Dr. Saltz worked as a reading teacher in the Northport-East Northport School District for thirteen years.

Dr. Saltz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Cornell University and a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Columbia University Teachers College. She went on to earn an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership from Stony Brook University and a Doctorate in Educational and Policy Leadership from Hofstra University.

Dr. Saltz is honored to work in a school district that supports individual growth and achievement, and that promotes diversity, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging.
