Sara Oshrin - Assistant Principal Dawnwood Middle School

    Ms. Oshrin has been working in education for 17 years, serving at both the middle and high school levels. She began her teaching career for the New York City Department of Education as a middle school mathematics teacher, where she gained extensive experience as a teacher and working with a diverse school community.

    Ms. Oshrin joined the Middle Country School District in 2010 as a high school mathematics teacher. During her tenure in Middle Country, Ms. Oshrin has worked in various roles throughout the district. Ms. Oshrin has proudly served our schools as a teacher, dean, and building administrator. She is excited to now join the administrative team at Dawnwood Middle School as Assistant Principal. Ms. Oshrin is looking forward to working with the students, families, faculty, and staff of DMS.

    Ms. Oshrin attended St. Joseph’s University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education. Ms. Oshrin received her Master’s Degree from Stony Brook University, and earned her School Building Leader and School District Leader credentials from The College of Saint Rose.
