Mr. Rothberg has been part of the Middle Country School District since 2001. He began his career as a math teacher at Newfield High School and continued on to holding assistant principal positions at both Dawnwood Middle School and New Lane Elementary School. He is extremely excited to now be the principal of Stagecoach Elementary School.

Mr. Rothberg received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University, followed by a Master’s degree from Stony Brook University and an administrative degree from the College of Saint Rose.

Mr. Rothberg believes that the support the Middle Country community gives to its schools is demonstrated in the excellence that is achieved by its children. He is dedicated to providing the tools necessary to ensure that all children are successful learners and can reach their highest potential.
