Lori Mazza - Assistant Principal Newfield High School

  • Lori Mazza I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study Special Education from St. Joseph's College, followed by a Master of Science in Education from Long Island University and a Master of Science School District/School Building degree from Touro College.

I am proud to have been in the Middle Country School District from the start of my career. I began teaching at Centereach High School in 2004, as a special education teacher in various content areas. I have been Team Leader of Special Education since 2011. As Team Leader, I worked with students, faculty, families, and community members gaining insight into what makes students successful as well as identifying their areas of need. This experience deepened my belief that every student has the ability to learn and achieve their personal goals.

I am very excited to continue my career as assistant principal at Newfield High School. My goal is to provide a challenging and supportive learning environment to all students empowering them to achieve their maximum potential, both personally and academically.
