Mrs. Kristi Leonard was recently appointed as Principal at Hawkins Path Elementary School.    

Mrs. Leonard comes to us from the position of Principal at Dawnwood Middle School.  Prior to her position as Principal, Mrs. Leonard had the opportunity to be an Assistant Principal as well as secondary Coordinator of Special Education with in the district. She holds a Speech degree from Hofstra University, a Special Education degree from Dowling College and an Administrative degree from Queens College.   

Mrs. Leonard is very excited to transition to her leadership role at Hawkins Path Elementary School. She has a passion for education and enjoys working with our most impressionable learners. Mrs. Leonard feels her role as an educational leader provides her with an opportunity to shape young lives in a positive way.  She looks forward to continuing to be an active part of the Middle Country community by working with Hawkins Path Elementary School students, faculty, staff, and parents.
