Mr. Csorny grew up in St. James, New York.  He has been a part of the Middle Country School District since 2009.  He has held various roles throughout his time in Middle Country as a teacher, administrator, and committee member.

Mr. Csorny is both honored and excited to join the administrative team at Newfield High School.  As someone who has worked in the district, Mr. Csorny understands the importance of having strong academic, social, and emotional supports in place for the Middle Country students.  He believes in fostering a learning environment where students feel encouraged to apply their knowledge and skills in various ways in order to become motivated and contributing members to both their school and their community.

Mr. Csorny attended Plattsburgh State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. He received his Master’s Degree from Stony Brook University, and earned his School Building Leader and School District Leader credentials from Touro University.
