Mr. Cangero grew up on Long Island and graduated from Locust Valley High School.  He had the opportunity to attend two years of elementary school in Italy.  Mr. Cangero received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from NYIT.  He earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from NYIT and a second Master’s Degree from Dowling in Educational Administration.  He worked in the business field as a financial analyst and corporate trainer.  Mr. Cangero taught business education at the high school level and was a professional staff developer for technology integration. 

Mr. Cangero was excited and proud to become a member of the Middle Country administrative team. He believes effective technology integration is achieved when the use of technology is routine and transparent and when technology supports the District’s curricula goals.  This helps make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun.
